Don't you Hate it When.......And a nother tutu giveaway.

Don't you hate it when some one calls you out!!! Yeah, you know what I mean.

When someone talks to you about your blog in real life and you have no idea who they are.

With all the issues that was going on from my hair blog (by the way which is deleted, so don't go clickin' on it), I have become a bit famous. Not the famous I liked to be, just famous, kind of like a Paris Hilton kind of way.( by the way- if you don't know, don't worry).

I pick up my children from school everyday, but on this particular day, all the paparazzi was out. I jumped out of my car, and waited in line with the thousand anxious parents waiting for their little loved ones.

I saw a group of ladies swarming around me with their cameras in hand, ok not the cameras but they should have had them right?

Finally one came out in front, "Hey, I noticed the 2 Posts from a person directed towards you."

I really just wanted to say, hey you saw that too, I can't believe I am that famous that I made some one write 2 posts on how much they don't like me. But, I didn't, I sat there for a moment, thinkin' to myself.

"What, you knew I was the author and designer of Hairs our life, I look at your DD's hair everyday, and not once did you mention you knew of me, or my site".

But don't you hate it when your big mouth shouts out for all to hear, and that dumb foot, didn't go fast enough up there to shut you up.

I simply replied...

What we talkin' about?-- (ya know the line from "Chicken Little").

What in the.....

How old am I?

my 10 year old, in my old wrinkly body jumped out. I don't know why she comes out sometimes, but mostly she comes when I do not want her to.

Yes for the record, I said "What are you all doing online when your house is a wreck?" oops, scratch that.

For this record I said "Oh yea, did you like the hair do from last week?".

Yeah that's what I said..
They all looked at each other, and said, ya know were sorry, but I just wanted to tell you that you didn't do anything wrong from our point of view...

I am the biggest dork.

Don't you hate it when you have to Tonga because of your mouth.

Nice one Dev.

yes, so it is when people read you and call you out. doesn't sound like any fun. then there are those who you know are reading you and ignoring you, and then make knife twisting comments to you in person. couldn't they just post a comment so that you can delete it and be on your way. ARGGGGHHHHHHH, yes i have been traumatized, hence, i am venting. i need friends.

I have been there. We have so many bloggers where I live. Hardly any comment, but indulge in my reads. It is so frustrating at times. I feel like no one likes me for me now. Weird. Love the foot picture.

I want a tutu. Everyone needs one.

I would love a Christmas tutu. Why do you need to win biggest loser. I am assuming you mean the weight one. If I had seven kids I wouldn't worry about it. I haven't seen a picture of you. But we all gain a little or a lot of weight after we have kids, right.

Devri said...

melissa,

I need to win the biggest loser because I need the money, you win like a ton of money if you do, so yep I need to win, not for the weight but for the money, losing the weight wouldn't hurt neither I suppose!!!!

hoLLy said...

i don't get what happened. so, someone you live near, reads your blog and totally dissed what you wrote on her own blog? and you found out about it?

Devri said...

yep nice huh!!

So, I know I told you thanks for the help the other day, but thanks again. It made me curious and I started going through the html of all my posts. I think there were several that were skiwompous (I have no idea how to spell that, but you get the idea.)
Anyway, RaRaRa Devri! You can be the Biggest Loser. You can do it!! ;)
I love the tutu, you should happily pass it along to me.
haha.
Have a nice week.

Is it to late to order some tutu's from you? I was going to do it last week and I forgot. I need to order two of them. I have their sizes and colors. Let me know if I can still order. Thanks.

I'll sign up for another tutu. I have several nieces. The ones I bought were for the precious grand daughters. Can't wait to get them. Love the picture and sorry about rude people. ((hugs))

Devri, I finally braved the music player to come and comment. We have several bloggers in our ward (I can think of 6 right off hand) and it's fun because we all comment on each other's blogs. I am sorry someone dissed you. I hate trolls! Especially when you know who they are.

And I would LOVE a tutu. My 4 year old daughter is so girly girl and we can never have enough foo foo in our house!

The Motherboard said...

I have had people refer to my kids as their blog nicknames at church... it sort of creeps me out when they NEVER comment!

Sorry for the blog drama. I hate that.

I know I just won a tutu, but I want to win another one... I wonder if the force will work for me a second time around??

Your tutus are adorable! I'd love to get one for my girls.

What??? The "Hair" blog is no longer. I loved that blog. I went there only occasionally because, after all, the only hair I do these days is my own, but I loved looking at all your creations. (kids and hair)

Anyway, even after reading the post and all the comments I have no idea about what happened here. That's the beauty of being menopausal -- everything goes over your head (and off your shoulder)! Truly. It's something to look forward to! ;o) (Love you, Devri)

Wow, that wouldn't be a fun situation. I can't believe all the drama some people are causing the the hair blog world. I have seen so many people shut down their blogs or go private. I'm sorry that had to happen to you. Nobody deserves that kind of drama. Anyway I love the tutu's you make and the Christmas one is so cute! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed til the winner is announced!
