Questions answered- The first day of a nightmare!

Here are some questions you have asked about my dumb foot!

We are waiting for the swelling to go down a bit before we see the orthopedics foot doctor. He then will assess what needs to be done. The two torn tendons on the top of my foot, he will then decide if they need help or not!

If they do, I might need surgery. If they don't no difference.

#2 I CANNOT walk on it, although I have a walking cast. NO pressure aloud.. dumb I know.

#3 I Cannot drive. It is my right foot I broke. But you bet your pretty little typing fingers that I will learn to drive with my left foot eventually!

#4 I will be in this thing for awhile. WE really don't know how long, we will wait for the specialist. but even if I didn't have to get surgery, they said at the hospital at least 5 weeks no walking on it, and then 4 weeks walking with the walking cast..

We will just have to wait.... ugh!!!

When It happened our Stake President, his wife and my husband drove me to the hospital, while my good friend drove our suburban with our children in towe. She took home them, and helped put my children to bed. Then she was swapped with Maka's cousin, so she could bring the car to the hospital, and bring me some new dry clothes. Why new dry clothes do you ask?

I swam in what I wore to the pool, shorts, shirt and garments and all. I forgot to bring my swimsuit. so oh well, get wet anyways right?!

Maybe that was the Spirit telling me to not swim, you will get hurt! but of course, I am a rebel!!

When my neighbor brang me my clothes, I was almost dry. I spent about 3 hours at the hospital freezing wet. No shoes..

disgusting. I did get a bunch of warm blankets though...

So the first day home by myself...

It was a disaster...

I just had to sit back and laugh...

House looks like a tornado came through it. My children did their chores in the morning, but by bedtime. WHOA NELLY!

My children went outside to play, and I heard two boys SCREAMING...

I couldn't figure out why they both would be screaming... So I yelled to my oldest to go check out the situation.

She brang them in the house. bee stings..

my 2 year old and my baby, went I guess to see what the swarm of bees were about~ Not to mention that they were covered in Ice Cream Sandwiches.

outcome... 2 year old 1 bee sting.. 1 year old.. 2 bee stings....

Our washer, our great washer, the whirlpool front loader is acting up. The warranty went off 6 months ago.. GREAT!!!

I think their is something wrong with the drain. Anyone else have any probs with it?

So what a great first day of a long summer.. My kids kept asking... CAN WE GO SWIMMING?

they are in for a boring summer too. sorry kiddos... I might insist that the swimming pool we went to give us season tickets for next year. It is their fault. (kind of)...

I will give them a choice, either pay my doctors bills, or a family season pass for next year..

Should I do it? Should I be evil like that?

did you know that on a free fall water slide, if you enter a pool, the water has to be at least 5 feet deep,

Theirs is 3 1/1 feet deep..

hmmmm

Got to go lay down now...

Peace out!

Make them pay your bills! It's going to come out to be way more than a season pass next year (which they should also give you)

I am so sorry about these horrible events happening.

plan b is not always easy. Take care my friend.

I bet they will do something to help you out with those passes.

You will laugh it about all this later---do it now...remember what they say?

Come what may..and love it.. praying for you and your family.

Oh man! I broke my toe about 3 months ago and I'm still having problems. I'm in a surgery shoe and waiting to see if I will need a pin. Not fun! But the story of how I broke if will make you smile!

I'd definitely see about helping out with the medical bills....and giving you summer passes!

i feel your pain honey! thankfully my kids aren't as young as yours when i broke my leg. i kept being so thankful that i didn't have babies. i could take my pain meds and sleep! i know you will have lots of help.. so you better use it!

and for the first time in my life ... i am a plaintiff!!! never thought i'd ever be one of those. but with bills over 30,000 and no insurance..... and a little pain and suffering it think. file a cliam on their insurance. usually there will me a med pay clause, mine was up to 5000.00. if you take it, it doesn't mean you let them off the hook or does it mean you won't hold them accountable. it's just there to use!

hang in there girl!

Sorry about your foot! That's pretty stinky! My sister-in-law has a front loading Whirlpool. She got several baby socks (she has an almost 2 year old) in the drain thing so it wouldn't drain properly. It was pretty easy to fix and now she uses a mesh bag to wash all the little socks:) I hope it's an easy fix for you too! No mother should be without a washer!

They should be carrying insurance for these types of things, so go for it! It's not personal, they were in the wrong. I wish I were there, I could kid nap your kids for you! Oh - and raw honey is great for bee stings!
